Questions

Do you take insurance? Yes! I am currently in-network with Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Curative, Optum, Oscar, and United Healthcare.

What are your fees? My fee is $125 for a 50-minute session. I accept all major credit cards, HSA and FSA cards, checks, and cash. Payment is expected when services are provided. If you need to cancel your appointment, please provide 24 hours notice; otherwise, you will be charged a $60 fee.

Do you offer in person or telehealth appointments? I offer both in person and telehealth appointments. Telehealth appointments are offered via a HIPAA compliant platform that can be accessed through your phone, iPad/tablet, or computer.

Confidentiality: I am required by law to protect your confidentiality; there are some limitations to confidentiality that we will discuss during your initial appointment (related to your safety and the safety of others).

How long are appointments? Appointments are 50 minutes in length. I do ask for at least 24 hours notices for cancellations; cancellations less than 24 hours or no show appointments are charged a $60 fee.

Frequency of sessions: Frequency of sessions depends on your needs. We will discuss scheduling during your initial appointment and come up with a frequency that works for you.

Good Faith Estimate Notice: Clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much their medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
